And the winner of the 1st Inspirational Latino Award in the category of Business Entrepreneur is…………

PEDRO GUILLEN!!!!

Going up to receive his award from Vancouver Mayor, Gregor Robertson, Pedro was shocked, surprised and of course, at a loss for words.

Congratulations to Pedro for all his hard work in bringing Peruvian cuisine to the city of Vancouver through community, food, and cultural events over the last several years!

His hard work has paid off but that won’t slow him down at all, but rather give him more motivation to continue doing what he loves most, cooking for the adventurous food lover!

Come into Mochikas and see what all the hype is about.

Thank you to everyone for their love and support over the years!

Fresh out of the Peruvian Oven – Pollo a la Brasa!!!

If you haven’t already heard, we’ve brought back our famous Pollo a la Brasa!! This is how we started and we’re very excited to serve our tasty version of charcoal-smoked, Peruvian-spiced rotisserie chicken!

This is the authentic taste of Peru! If you’ve been to Peru, come try us out and let us know how we compare because we think you will love it! If you haven’t been, Pollo a la Brasa is a classic, authentic meal you would find on every corner in Peru, like we have sushi and Starbucks in Vancouver.

Traditionally, Pollo a la Brasa is served with french fries, green salad, and hot sauces and dipping sauces.

At Mochikas, we will serve it up right: our juicy chicken marinated with Chef Pedro’s secret recipe (which took him 1 year to perfect) cooked to perfection, fresh cut fries, green salad with a cilantro, garlic and lime dressing and housemade hot sauce on the side for a bit of a kick!

Available for dine-in and a better deal if you takeout to enjoy at home or your next party.
